LaShawn McGhee

LaShawn graduated from the New England Institute of Art (NEIA) with a BS in Digital Film and Video. While in attendance at NEIA she received several awards for excellence, including the coveted Excellence in Digital Filmmaking Award. She has collaborated on several projects, most notably the student feature film remake of Flirting with Disaster, for which she won an AIME (Art Institutes Media Excellence) Award for Best Editor. During the summer, LaShawn has worked as an Assistant Editor for Lillian E. Benson, A.C.E. on a Directing Workshop for Women short film and as an Assistant Editor/Intern at Authentic Entertainment on the pilot for BUFFALO BATTLE. She most recently worked as an Assistant Editor for a PBS Documentary called Digital Media: New Learners of the 21st Century. Contact: [email protected]
