L. Onye Anyanwu

Onye began her career as a casting director in NYC where she worked on countless ad campaigns for companies such as Levis, Mercedes-Benz, Nike, and Apple. Her producing credits include Co-Executive Producer on the feature Restless City, which premiered at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival. She has Produced five shorts including Revelations, which received the 2010 Kodak Gold Award for the Excellence in the Craft of Filmmaking. She is a recipient of the 2010 Stankamen and Tom Yoda Scholarships as well as the Bridges / Larson Production Grant. Most recently she was producing commercials for Apple and given the honor of being the first recipient of the Disney / Jerry Bruckheimer Award at the American Film Institute.
