kristen correll, better known as ""kll"", is no stranger to visual storytelling; she has been creating images since childhood in a home that allowed fog machines, paint splatters, underage driving, and pretty much anything that was necessary to tell the story. thanks meem! kII received a ba in film from emerson college with a concentration in cinematography. post graduation she became a member of local 600, working amongst and learning from some of the highest regarded cinematographers and crews around. In this new chapter of her life, kII is proud to call herself an afi cinematography fellow. she started her afi journey with director malcolm washington and editor rafi nur, and is now book ending it with them. kII is thrilled to be part of this team and tell a story that has social relevance and importance and that may actually do something for humanity!
