Krista Thomas-Scott

After earning her degree in Costume and Set Design from the Honors Tutorial College at Ohio University and studying at Central St Martin’s School of Art and Design in London, Krista Thomas- Scott moved to NYC in 2001 to work as a design assistant at the Juilliard School. Krista worked as a craft artisan on several productions there and for the NJ Shakespeare Festival.

While in NY, Kristajoined the Hipgnosis Theatre Company as their resident costume and set designer. She also worked at the United Nations for a time where she met a colleague she would later help open the Idlewild travel bookshop in Manhattan.

After moving to LA in 2008, Krista continued to production design for movies, TV, and musicvideos, along with the occasional opera. Currently working as a freelance Costume, Production, and Set designer, Krista is always on the lookout for new and exciting projects!
