Konrad Tho Fiedler

Cinematographer Konrad Fiedler graduated from Columbia University, with a BA in Urban Studies. Before AFI, he covered New York City as photo editor and staff photographer at The New York Sun and recently as a contract photographer for The New York Times. In 2004, he was one of the first journalists to cover the crisis in Darfur, nominated for Pulitzer Prize consideration and is in the permanent collection of the Library of Congress. His work in the Middle East has been featured in the book Jihad Next Door, as well as for Marie Claire and Glamour.
