Kexin Lu

Born and raised in Canton, China, Shincy (KEXIN) Lu graduated from University of California, Los Angeles with a major in Economics and minors in Film, Television and Digital Media as well as Cognitive Science. As a passionate advocator for independent arthouse films, Shincy founded Sounder Pictures as a bridge connecting resources overseas and as a platform for arthouse filmmakers to express themselves through a unique language. She interned for companies in production and foreign sales and worked for director Brett Morgen. She also worked as an associate producer and story editor for a Chinese independent feature film, THE RIB. She is a graduated Fellow from Producing Class of 2018 at American Film Institute Conservatory.
