Keith W. White
Keith W. White was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin. While
attending the University of Wisconsin, Keith was classically
trained in stage lighting design by Tony Award winning lighting
designer Gilbert V. Hemsley, A.S.L.D. at the UW Theatre Arts
Department Graduate Program in Stage Lighting Design.
Keith received a degree from the University of Southern
California Department of Cinema and immediately entered the major
Hollywood studios as a cameraman. After special effects camera
work on BATTLESTAR GALATICA, Keith then moved to Hawaii for
MAGNUM P.I., returning to Los Angeles to do FALCON CREST.
Keith started sitcoms with NEWHART in the early 1980's because
the two day work week allowed him to co-parent his daughter. Since
then, he has worked on COACH, MURPHY BROWN and CBS' new KISS
ME GUIDO, to name a few credits.
During the past twenty-five years, Keith’’s experience includes
visual effects, live-action, the first analog HDTV tests, CGI and
the latest in HDTV production techniques.
Keith's latest digital project is THE BLESSING WAY, an
American Film Institute DWW production. Directed and produced by
Yvette Freeman, the Digital to 35mm film production will broadcast
on Showtime in the Spring of 2001.
