Katia Nájera Viale

Katia Nájera Viale was born and raised in Tijuana, México. She graduated with honors from San Diego State University with a BS in Television, Film, and New Media production, with a focus in production design. Katia has designed over 15 films for SDSU and USC, as well as a project for the NAVY’’s SPAWAR. She was awarded Best Production Design on the 2016 San Diego Student Film Awards for her film AMONG THIEVES. She has also worked as an art department PA for the pilot of THIS IS US and for the first season of NBC Universal’’s THE GOOD PLACE. She has made her first climb as an art department researcher for Apple’’s FOR ALL MANKIND. She continues to follow her passion for film, and will be graduating from the AFI Conservatory in 2018 with a MFA in Production Design.
