Kai Krause

Kai Krause

Kai grew up on his father's commercial sets, which made him decide his career path at young age. Just a few years later, he enrolled to the prestigious Idyllwild Arts Academy where he obtained a diploma in cinematography. Shortly after graduating from IAA, he moved to London, England to attend the Metropolitan Film School at Ealing Studios, from which he received a BA with first class honors in film and digital cinematography. During his time at Met Film, Kai was tutored by legends like Robin Vidgeon, BSC, Nic Morris, BSC, and Paul Wheeler, BSC. In London, Kai's work became more diverse, ranging from professional music videos and low-budget features, to short films that played in festivals worldwide. Immediately following graduation, Kai began his studies at AFI Conservatory in 2013 and recently graduated with a Master of Fine Arts in cinematography. Kai is the youngest graduate of the cinematography discipline in AFI's history. (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm4003219/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1=)
