Ka Kush

Native Detroiter KA’’RAMUU KUSH is a director/writer with roots in the New York Theatre, He has produced and directed short films under his independent short film production company, The Black Op. His work as an actor and/or director has toured internationally in over 20 film festivals including Cannes, Sundance, Tribeca, and LA Film Festival. As a theatre director he has been awarded fellowships at Lincoln Center and Second Stage Theatre. He is also a recipient of the Frances Williams Artists Grant and the Daniel Petrie Scholarshop. He holds his BFA in literature, writing and the arts from the New School University and a MFA in classical drama from Sarah Lawrance College.
