Justin Kane

Justin was born and raised in Northern California. After receiving his BA in Film from the University of California Santa Cruz in 2006, he moved to Los Angeles where he is a director of photography for narrative films and music videos. In 2010, Justin shot the short film A SUMMER HOME; an audience favorite for its strong visual motifs of nature, family, and self-recognition. In 2011, Justin shot WONDER VALLEY, a visceral film that premiered at the Maryland Film Festival and online with Filter Magazine. Justin is currently finishing up studies for his MFA in Cinematography at the American Film Institute. His 35mm Thesis film, INTERSTATE, received honorable awards and support from Kodak, FotoKem, and Panavision. INTERSTATE has recently wrapped photography and will deliver to festivals in late 2013.
