Junna Xiao

During her first year as an AFI Editing Fellow, Junna Xiao won the American Cinema Editor's Student Editing Award, a nationwide contest open to student editors. Hailing from China, she completed her BA in Media Communication for Film and Television at Beijin University in 2006. During her time there she interned at the Beijing Television Station and Beijing Polybona Film Publishing Co., as we all as editing the documentary KONG MING: A BLIND KID, for Rizhao TV Station. After emigrating to the US, Junna further honed her filmmaking skills at Art Center College of Design as well as UCLA's School of Theatre, Film and Television before joining the AFI Conservatory. Junna Xiao is currently completing an internship for NBC Universal at Wolf Films Post Production, producers of the LAW & ORDER series.
