Jong Hun Park
Jonghun Park was born and raised in Korea. After completing his mandatory army service, he came to the US to go to school, and it was at San Francisco State University where he realized his love for film could turn into a profitable and satisfying career.
Jong quickly decided that spending time in an air conditioned editing suite was better than lugging around 25-pound sand bags under the glaring heat of stage lights. And his 2007 Film Award for Editing from Cal State Long Beach proved his skill for cutting.
Previous to the AFI Conservatory, he worked on numerous shorts and features, including “Dead Undead” (2008), “Brothers at War” and “Shannon’’s Rainbow” (2009). While editing at AFI, he also completed internships at Metanoia Films and RMD Entertainment. He rounds out his busy schedule by teaching film production on weekends to his church group.
