Jo ByongHoon

Fascinated by visual arts, ByongHoon practiced fine arts for 7 years while growing up between South Korea, Australia and America. He graduated from Handong Global University with a BA in Visual & Performing Arts. After realizing his passion towards visual arts could be pushed a step further through cinematic language, he began to pursue his career as a cinematographer. He lensed dozens of short films in South Korea, including MINSU KIM IN WONDERLAND, which was awarded the Grand Jury Prize in the renowned Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival. To polish his craft and knowledge, he joined the prestigious American Film Institute where he is currently a Cinematography Fellow. ByongHoon is now working on his thesis project TABULA RASA, captivated by its great story and team members.
