Jill Bencsits

Committed to a rigorous and adventurous exploration of her art form, Jill's overall objective as a designer is innovative, authentic, fluid storytelling that reflects and questions the complexity of human nature. A graduate of Cal Poly Pomona, she holds a BA in Theatrical Design in Scenery and Costumes. In her undergraduate studies she designed 11 plays in both sets and costumes, four of which have been nominated for KCACTF (A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE, ROMEO AND JULIET, THE COMPLETE HISTORY OF AMERICA ABRIDGED, and MACBETH). As production designer she has completed several shorts and has begun her first feature film. Her first AFI thesis, FIRST DATES, placed third at the 32nd College Television Awards.
