Jevon Whetter

Deaf since birth, Jevon has been working professionally as an actor with the National Theatre of the Deaf, Deaf West as well as several film and television projects. After working as a teacher for nine years, Jevon went on to graduate from San Diego State University where he received his Master of Arts degree in Theatre Arts in 2007 and graduated with his second master's from American Film Institute Conservatory with his Master of Fine Arts degree in Producing in 2009. Jevon is currently teaching Visual and Performing Arts at the California School for the Deaf - Riverside where he plans to continue to develop his projects in the future. Jevon also plans to serve as a consultant for disabled actors/artists and to help pave the way for them to gain access to working in theatre, television, and film.
