Jessica Wethington
Jessica is completing her MFA in Producing at the American Film
Institute. Before deciding to call Los Angeles home, Jessica lived in New
York where she worked in syndication at Fox's Twentieth Television
under the auspices of the prestigious International Radio and Television
Society Professional Fellowship Program.
Her transition from television to film has been advantageous. During
her tenure at AFI, Jessica developed and produced several short films,
scripting one herself and yet another with a writing partner.
Additionally, she produced a 35mm independent short film entitled
FREEWAY. Her most recent short project is DUST, which she developed
in partnership with writer Rico Gagliano and director Joshua Malkin.
She is also developing two feature
projects, one with the DUST team, and is employed as a freelancer on
independent films during hiatus of her own projects. An Ohio native,
Jessica received her BFA from the College-Conservatory of Music in
Cincinnati.
