Jessica Petersen

Born and raised in Munich, Germany, Jessica’’s interest in film sparked during her summer internships at the Bavarian Film Studios. She came to America to pursue her career in film and graduated from Drexel University in Philadelphia, with a Bachelor of Science for Film & Video Production. She quickly began to work as an editor in the Philadelphia and New York area, working with a variety of video production companies, and her projects range between award winning student films, high end fashion commercials, reality TV shows, creative corporate and educational videos, and most recently an award winning indie film THE PLACE WE'RE GOING. With a large background in dance, music and theatre, Jessica quickly found her love of story telling through editing. She loves to play with rhythm to form emotional connections with the characters and explore the unique perspectives that the stories are being told by.  Jessica is currently pursuing her Masters as an Editor at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles.
