Jessica Kehrhahn

Growing up in Germany, Jessica began her career as a film-editing trainee on the famous German TV series, EIN FALL FUER ZWEI(A CASE FOR TWO). She then began working with German TV (ZDF) where she was the editor on DEIN TOEDLICHES LAECHELN (DEADLY SMILE), and co-editor on numerous Movies of the Week and TV Series. She also cut documentaries and news shows, and worked as an editing instructor at German TV’’s Department of Education.

In 1998 she graduated from the Center for Advanced Film and TV Studies at the American Film Institute with the thesis film SORROW’’S CHILD, which won several prestigious awards from international film festivals. While at the AFI, Jessica received the Tommy Gross Award for Outstanding Achievement in Editing in 1997, and earned a nomination at the American Cinema Editors' (ACE) Student Editing Competition in 1998.

Jessica continues to work both on feature films and short films in Los Angeles.
