Jeff Markowitz

Jeffrey graduated from Boston University with a graduate degree in Psychology. Seeking to integrate his early experience with his interest in human behavior, he turned his avocation of photography into a profession. Jeffrey began capturing Washington area news events for The Washington Post, Associated Press, Time and Newsweek. Eventually, he was given the assignment of White House Photographer where he traveled the country with President Bush and President

Clinton. While documenting the president's political and private lives, he has accumulated a

stunning portfolio.

Jeffrey was accepted toAFI and has since completed three short films. He is one of the few, select directors to participate in the prestigious Second Year.
