Jean-Paul Leonard
Jean-Paul Leonard, originally from Florida, comes to STUCK with a multi-disciplinary background in architectural, new media, motion graphics and production design. Since 2000 Jean-Paul has been the owner and creative director of his own design studio, Company Wide Shut, specializing in design for digital media, film and television. With clients including New Line Cinema, Fox Home Entertainment and Universal Pictures, he has been attached to such noteworthy franchises as “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy, “The Simpsons,” “Futurama” and “Hellboy.” Together with concept designer Alan Lee, Jean-Paul designed the end titles sequence for “The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.” Jean-Paul has won numerous awards for his work, including those from Communication Arts, ID Magazine, HOW Magazine, Print Magazine and the Type Directors Club. His animated short, ""Sub:Division!"" was screened in multiple film festivals, including the ResFest Digital Film Festival, the International Film Festival Rotterdam and the Mill Valley Film Festival. In 2009 Jean-Paul joined the AFI Conservatory as a production design fellow so that he could more deeply explore design for narrative.
