Jave Galt-Miller

Jave Galt-Miller grew up wanting to be a fighter pilot or a philosopher. Myopia and a fear of death kept him out of the cockpit, however, and he quickly realized there was no money in profundity. So he moved to Los Angeles to make movies.

The angelic city was coy with her favors though, and he wrote and wandered and awaited his chance. He was a bouncer and a soldier; a waiter and a web designer. He was even a criminal when the money got tight. But eventually Jave grew up and went back to college. With several short films under his belt, he graduated from Rider University with honors and hitchhiked his way back west. After returning to LA, Jave worked in the post production section of Lifetime TV while directing films on the side. When he was accepted into the director’’s program at the AFI Conservatory, he remembered the stories his grandfather used to tell about the ninja family he befriended back in WWI. And out of this cherished family tradition grew Ninjas in the Shed.
