Jason H Don
Jason Don is currently a producing Fellow at the American Film Institute. He graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 2013 with a BA in International Relations and a minor in Russian Language & History. He has studied abroad at Moscow’’s Higher School of Economics, and spent one summer studying producing at NYU Tisch while interning at The Weinstein Company. After graduating from Penn, Jason moved to LA and worked for over a year at Allison Shearmur Productions (ROGUE ONE, CINDERELLA). At that time, he served as the LA production coordinator for BANDITO, a Tisch thesis film that premiered at the 2015 Tribeca Film Festival. Most recently, Jason worked at ICM Partners, first in the mailroom and then in the Below-The-Line department. While pursuing his studies at AFI, Jason has also pursued his interested in emerging technologies by writing and producing a virtual reality music video for the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. He has also produced a number of music videos, and his upcoming projects include a micro-budget feature film built around a team of AFI alumni.
