James Breen

Born and raised in Detroit, Jim spent his formative years studying photography and writing screenplays. It wasn't until he relocated to San Francisco that he formed his own company to write, direct and produce his own short films. Since then, Jim has completed seven short films including #1(which premiered at the 2004 San Francisco Black Film Festival) and MY GRIEF IS MY OWN (which premiered at the 2008 Orlando Hispanic Film Festival.) In between projects, Jim also helped organize the Bay Area Low to No Budget Filmmaking group which now has over 900 members on-line.
