Isabella Issa

Isabella Issa was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, where she developed an immense curiosity for the relationship between human beings and their surroundings. She received her BA in Film Production from Pepperdine University where she travelled to Australia and and Italy to create short films that have gone on to win awards at international film festivals. She is a recent Directing Fellow graduate from the American Film Institute Conservatory and is based in Los Angeles. Isabella is a writer-director who gravitates towards poetic relationship dramas that express themes of transformation and love, while capturing raw and rhythmically flavored perspectives that reveal the unique truths about humanity.
