Irina Popov

Irina Popov was born in Sofia, Bulgaria and immigrated to Los Angeles as a child where she was raised. Irina received her BA from UC Santa Barbara in Film & Media Studies and Philosophy. Right after, she was accepted to the AFI as the youngest producing fellow in her class. Since then, she has produced ten short films all receiving excellent reviews, with a handful being accepted into the 2011 and 2012 AFI Showcase. Outside of AFI, Irina pro- duced music videos for acclaimed artists and commercials for the corporate world. Irina is a working line producer but enjoys discovering and developing content hoping to be a creative executive at a boutique studio one day.
