Inpyo Hong

Inpyo Hong is a directing fellow of AFI Conservatory. Before studying filmmaking, he was a CPA. Working at big firms allowed him to ponder seriously the weakness of capitalism itself as well as the paradox of its basic assumption. However, he finally realized the paradox was not in capitalism but that he, the subject of perceiving everything, was the paradoxical one. He began to picture himself living a non-paradoxical life. This led him to study filmmaking. He taught himself, wrote/directed short films and wrote an animation, which premiered at Czech River Film Festival, and a feature script, which was officially selected by Beverly Hills Film Festival.
