Hyon Kyong Lim
Hyon studied filmmaking at the Vancouver Film School, Vancouver, Canada, and she completed her Master of Fine Arts in Film Producing degree at the American Film Institute Conservatory in 2009. She is also a graduate of Seoul Women’’s University, Seoul, Korea, with BAs in both Media Studies and Business Administration. She graduated with top honor of the class. She has worked as an assistant director at Korea Music Television, in charge of two programs, ON THE ROAD and STAR BLOZINE. Since 2005, she worked as a producer in twelve short films, including SARUBIA CLUB, THE COUNSELOR, SMOULDER, ROOMS and LOSING MY CHERRY. She is currently working on her talk/cooking show which will be released in 2010. Her past experiences in various crew positions at numerous short films, such as Director, Writer, 1st AD, Cinematographer, Art Director, Editor and Sound Mixer will help her to bring a creative producer’’s vision into her next step on the media industry.
