Hind Saeed Al Basti

Hind has been passionate about film since a young age, as she started photography classes when she was 7 years old. She’’s fluent in Arabic, English and Urdu and was born and raised in Dubai, UAE where she earned her first-­‐degree in Business Technlogy from the Higher Colleges of Technology. She moved to Boston, MA and earned a BA in Digital Film and Video Production from the New England Institute of Art. There, she began her career in TV through producing and directing commercials and promos. In 2011 Hind produced a documentary, Zayed’’s Dream,that won 2nd place in the Anasi Awards in Abu Dhabi, UAE. She then got involved with Image Nation Abu Dhabi and worked as an assistant to the line producer on a feature that was co-­‐produced by Hyde Park Entertainment. Hind has just finished her MFA at AFI in Producing. In the future, she wants to focus on creative, and packaging aspect of producing, as she’’s passionate about story, and attaching talent.
