Henry Prince

Henry Prince grew up in New York City and earned a B.A. from Colgate University, where he studied computer science and film. At Colgate, Henry wrote and directed a number of student shorts. Following graduation, he worked as a Production Assistant on Charlie Kaufman’’s SYNECDOCHE, NEW YORK, which premiered at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival. He then began work for Vox3 Films, a production company owned by Andrew Fierberg, Christina Weiss Lurie and Steven Shainberg. At Vox3, Henry acted as production manager and assistant to the producer on numerous feature films. In 2009, he directed and co-wrote PLACEBO, a short that premiered at the 2009 Palm Beach International Film Festival and went on to play at over 20 festivals, winning awards at the DC Shorts Film Festival and the Nevada Film Festival. Henry is currently working towards his MFA in Directing at the AFI Conservatory.
