Gustavo Lipsztein

Gustavo was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on March 15, 1973. After studying Engineering for 2 1/2 years in PUC-RJ, he transferred to NYU where he completed a BFA in Film. He went back to Brazil where he worked as an AD on over 50 commercials in an 18 month span at JODAF, São Paulo, a major commercial production company. He then moved to Rio de Janeiro where he was hired as a writer for the Soap Operas TOCAIA GRANDE and MANDACARU. He has written some short films, TV programs, a feature script and more chapters than he cares to for soap operas.
