Gina Gambill

Gina Gambill studied at U.C.L.A. and received a B.A. in Modern Dance and Art

and an M.F.A. in Production Design for Theatre, Film and Television. Her

experimental films ""Eat His Body, Drink His Blood"" and ""Someone's in my

Womb"" received Honorable Mention at the Columbus, Ohio International Film

Festival. These films and ""Flight,"" appeared in LACE's La Festival Strange, Los

Angeles Freewaves Cablecast and U.C.L.A.'s Immaculate Projections Festival.

Her poetry has been published in literary magazines ONTHEBUS, Yellow Silk,

Voices and Caffeine. After directing three short films at AFI last year, she

received the 1994 Hollywood Foreign Press Director's Award. This year she

received the 1995 Amy Bloch Directing Achievement Award for her short film

THE VISITOR.
