Gabriela González
A South Florida native, Gabriela Gonzalez recently graduated from the American Film Institute with an MFA in Producing. After receiving degrees in Political Science and Criminology from Florida State University in 2002, Gabriela worked in real estate investment and marketing. At the same time, Gabriela decided to pursue her love of film and attended the Palm Beach Film School, a program that allows filmmakers to write, produce and direct their own digital shorts. Prior to relocating to Los Angeles, she continued to work on independent film projects in South Florida, producing shorts and music videos. During her two years at the American Film Institute, Gabriela produced four short films and one MOS with media ranging from HD, 16mm, and 35mm. She first partnered with Director Ozzy Villazon on an AFI short film titled THE DAY LABORER, which inspired their current collaboration, a feature-length version of the story by the same name.
