Faramak Zahraie

Faramak studied filmmaking for two years at New York University in the 1970’’s and has a diploma in Professional Commercial Photography from the Center for the Media Arts in New York from the 1980’’s. He just recently graduated with a BA in New Media Communications from the University of Washington. He made an hours worth of experimental student films in his NYU days, assisted on feature productions in Iran while not permitted to make his own films, assisted professional photographers in New York, and made three short non-fiction and two short fiction films, utilizing 3/4" video, 16mm, and 35mm. In his productions, he usually had to assume position of writer, director, editor, DP and independent producer as well.
