Eugenio Richer

A simple image synchronized with any corresponding sound will surely capture Eugenio’’s attention. Originally from Monterrey, Mexico; Eugenio edited his first 16mm short film as part of his BA in Communication Sciences at Tecnologico de Monterrey, in Monterrey, Mexico. He edited and post-produced many corporate videos mainly through the production house ‘CAMALEON’’, which he co-founded. As part of his international education, he studied at the University of Queensland, Australia; and a summer intensive at Vancouver Film School.

Now in Los Angeles, California, he recently received his MFA in Film Editing from the American Film Institute. Eugenio is currently working as a Post Production Assistant with editor Stan Salfas, A.C.E. on Nicole Holofcener’’s new feature film at Fox Searchlight and while still being a student at AFI, he worked on Warner Brother’’s Chernobyl Diaries as a post production intern. Eugenio can’’t be happier to have worked with this amazing team and feels honored to have had the opportunity to share with them his passion for the art of film editing.
