Elizabeth Shea: While attending Trinity College in Washington, DC, I wrote my senior
thesis at Ted Koppel's ""Nightline"", and interned at VH-1, an MTV network,
in production and programming development. After graduating college I
freelanced for WGBY-TV, a PBS affiliate, Continental Cablevision, and
Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company in Springfield,
Massachusetts. While attending The American Film Institute I have
produced five short films, of which Velva Jean Learns to Drive is-my
thesis film. The script for Velva Jean Learns to Drive, written by
Jennifer Niven McJunkin, was awarded a production grant from The Colin
Higgins Foundation. The film, directed by John Hart Angelo, has also won
the Grand Jury prize for best short film from the World Fest-Charleston
International Film Festival, as well as an award to Yoram Astrakhan for
best cinematography. Other significant members of the team include
