Eli Nilsen
A native of Stavanger, Norway, Eli completed her undergraduate degree in Media Studies at the University of Bergen, Norway. She also studied film and television production at Columbia College in Chicago and the London Guildhall University in the United Kingdom. While earning her Master's degree at the American Film Institute, Eli received the Women in Film Mentor Scholarship Award for her accomplishments in editing. Eli was also the recipient of the American-Scandinavian Foundation Fellowship for 1997/1998. Since graduating from AFI, Eli has been busy working on several projects, including Roger Corman’’s THE BLACK SCORPION series (as Editor) and SOUTH PARK-BIGGER, LONGER AND UNCUT (assistant Editor). This past summer, Eli cut her first feature length film, BLACK BALL.
