Eleonore Meier

Eleonore was born and raised in Switzerland. She studied anthropology and film studies at the University of Zurich. While studying, she worked as a producer and stylist on commercials. Her first feature-length film MACHO was done in-between her first and second year at the American Film Institute, where she will be graduating from in December of 2009. While studying she interned at Wendy Finerman’s production company and for Dream Entertainment at the AFM (American Film Market). Eleonore has produced numerous short films, one of which is GUERRILLA GARDEN and is involved as an Executive Producer in the feature film ‘The Lightmaker’, which premiered at the Berlinale in 2001. Before coming to AFI Eleonore was working as producer’s assistant at a TV station in Switzerland.
