Dwayne Jones
Dwayne was born and raised in Walnut Creek, CA. After high school, he worked for two years with an organization in Capetown, South Africa coordinating youth events. In 1984, Dwayne returned to the states and started Pepperdine University in 1985, where he attended the Year-in-Europe program in Heidelberg, Germany and studied for a summer in China. He earned a BA in Journalism with a political science emphasis. From 1989 to 1993, Dwayne worked as a press assistant, print reporter, television reporter and field producer throughout California. During this time, he produced a music video for the state democratic convention which caught the eye of David Doak, a Washington DC based political media consultant, who then hired Dwayne to produce commercials nationwide. In 1996, Dwayne moved back to CA to oversee media strategy for Congresswoman Jane Harman.
