Douglas Martin

Douglas is originally from Stockton, CA. He studied Film and Theater at Humboldt State University in Arcata. His interests and fields of study included cinematography, special effects makeup for film and theater, and special visual effects production. As Humboldt State’’s cinema equipment room manager, he sharpened his technical abilities over two and a half years. While at Humboldt, he also directed the 28th Annual Humboldt International Film Festival. After graduating, he went on to work as a producer/director of television commercials and news promotion for NBC affiliate KIEM-TV News Channel 3. In January of 1997, Douglas moved to Los Angeles. After arriving in LA, he worked as a AC and produced digital graphics and titles for Fox and Discovery specials at Termite Art Productions.
