Diego Trenas

Being born in a family of filmmakers, Diego was raised in the magical world of movie sets. His love for Cinematography came through admiring the work of his father, a renowned Spanish Cinematographer. Diego has studied and worked in Spain, Ireland, Portugal, France, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Peru, Colombia, Chile, Panamá, Mexico and the United States. He started working in the camera department of the film “2 Francos, 40 Pesetas”, the documentary “Learning to Educate Better”, and the renowned Spanish TV series “Cuéntame Cómo Pasó”, among other sets. Diego later became a cameraman on the TV program “Doctor Romero”, the film “Lope Enamorado”, and his first professional job as a Cinematographer was on the short film “Triple Room” and “From 7 To Eleven”. Diego was granted with an all-expenses-covered Obra Social “la Caixa” Fellowship to receive his Master of Fine Arts degree in Cinematography at the AFI Conservatory.
