Dennis Zanatta

Born and Raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Dennis Zanatta started in the film and TV industry as young professional actor. Fascinated by the process of making a movie and inspired by his older sister, an award winner photojournalist, he decided to pursue his career as a Cinematographer and share the stories throughout his eyes. In 2006, Dennis graduated with a bachelor’’s degree in Social Communication from Universidade Sao Judas in Sao Paulo. During college, Dennis had the opportunity to work as a Cinematographer for many film/TV projects, including a high-­‐ end Auto TV show which exposed his work internationally, leading him to work for an american film/TV production company based in Washington DC. Since then, Dennis lives in the US and he is passionate about storytelling and collaboration. His efforts to reach the excellence as Cinematographer never stops. While in DC, he took Director of Photography Master class workshops with ASC members and a Steadicam Workshop with Garrett Brown. His studies led him to pursue his ultimatum goal, a MFA in Cinematography at the American Film Institute.
