Before attending the American Film Institute Conservatory, Dave studied at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, studying English literature and creative writing. While at AFI, he has written four short films including: THE BELL (directed by Jeremy Merrifield), THE VISITOR, BLOOD , and LOST.
