David Scorca

David Scorca graduated with honors from UC Santa Cruz, double majoring in Philosophy and Film Production in 2007. In 2009, he traversed the country in his '68 Plymouth to work on a farm in upstate New York. From there, David spent five years navigating the film industry in NYC where he began cutting narrative. After finishing a two year stint with NBC at 30 Rockefeller Center, he began attending the American Film Institute Conservatory. Films he has worked on have gone to Cannes, Tribeca, NYC Independent, and other prestigious festivals. His credits include RETURN, STONES IN THE SUN, NANCY PLEASE, FATAL ENCOUNTERS, and DEAD OF NIGHT. His first feature as editor, THE LOWER ANGELS, premiered at the NYC Horror Film Festival in 2014.
