David Mallin

Prior to enrolling at AFI to shift his emphasis to narrative filmmaking, David worked as a documentary cameraman. This work led him to co-found Cloudchaser Films, a production company focused on documentary production. Using Cloudchaser as a springboard, David both shot and directed a feature documentary about African refugees living in Zambia. David holds an undergraduate degree in media production from American University in DC.
