David Carlo C Mendoza

A multi-award-winning Filipino cinematographer whose films have competed in international festivals in New York, Venice, Berlin and Tokyo, Carlo Mendoza recently made history in the Philip­pines after being elevated to Hall of Fame status at the Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences. He started training as an apprentice in 2005, and attended the 2007 Asian Film Academy in Busan and the 2011 Berlinale Talent Campus. In 2015, he was in­vited to the first ARRI Lighting Symposium. Despite being busy, Mendoza finds time to give workshops around the Philippines and Southeast Asia, like FLY2014 in Myanmar and Young Filmmakers Workshop in Malaysia.
