Dave Szamet

Dave Szamet is fresh off producing his second feature film. Last summer (2009), Dave produced a feature length comedy, Little Blue Pill in Portland, Oregon. On his first film, a feature documentary, Beyond Borders: The Debate Over Human Migration, Dave served as solo producer, and screened at the Tribeca Film Festival. This is Dave’’s second thesis film (My First Claire) and third short film this year.

After working in film development with The Weinstein Company, Camborne Productions and Ambush Entertainment. Dave has coordinated shooting for films in such diverse locations as Haiti, Miami, Boston, Washington DC, San Francisco, and New York

He is a graduate of Linfield College in McMinnville, OR where he majored in English and Political Science.
