Daniel Koobir

Daniel started his career as a filmmaker in Miami, Florida where he received his BA in studio art and film from the University of Miami. He then moved to New York where he worked with Freestyle Collective as an assistant editor on music videos, documentaries, and commercials. He recently received his MFA from the American Film Institute in Los Angeles, CA where he now resides, and has been currently focusing on narrative short and feature-length films. He has worked on GUERRILLA GARDEN directed by Rafael Palacio Illingworth and on PATROL, both of which will be making their way through the festival circuit. Another of his recently completed projects is the feature film MACHO.
