Daniel Everett Cameron

Dan grew up in the mountains of British Columbia, Canada, where, after seeing Spike Leeʼs Do The Right Thing as a teenager, he decided he wanted to make movies. After completing a critical film-studies degree at Canadaʼs oldest film program (Queenʼs University, B.A. Hons.), Dan wrote his first feature length screenplay. It was awful, but he was enthralled by storytelling, and seven years later the shine hasnʼt worn off. Since then, Danʼs screenplays have garnered numerous accolades. His art-heist screenplay PINCH was an Academy Nicholl Fellowship semi-finalist, placing in the top 50 out of 7,251 screenplays. Dan is currently a Screenwriting Fellow at the American Film Institute Conservatoryʼs Masterʼs Program
