Daiyao Yan

Daniel Yan graduated from Beijing Film Academy's cinematography program. After 4 years as a freelance cinemtographer, he moved to LA and enrolled in the AFI Conservatory. Daniel worked on several feature projects such as The Great Wall, 12 Citizens, and Police Diary. He has experience in a variety of shooting techniques, such as helicopter aerial, 3D-Ring and 65mm IMAX film. In addition to being invited to the Taipei Golden Horse Academy and Busan Asian Film Academy, Daniel has won the Best Cinematographer Award at the Macau International Film Festival and nominated for awards by the Busan International FIlm Festival and the Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival.
